Pagoda Stage

The Pagoda is the main stage at the world renowned Shambhala music festival, hosted every in Salmo, British Columbia. I was fortunate enough to be invited to contribute in the rebuild where I assisted in the timber framing, general carpentry, as well as final finishing. It was with great honor that I was asked to build the DJ Booth, where countless world renowned DJ's and artists would ply their trade.

The legs were cut from 8x8 fir beams left over from the main build, while the side and front rails were machined from 2x12 fir salvaged from site. Finger joints add a subtle flair while tying the piece together with the CNC cut latticework present throughout the rest of the structure.
